Teepee Wedding Photography – Milborne Wick wedding of Anne & Edward

I’m a fan of marquee weddings – and it’s fair to say I’m a HUGE fan of Teepee Wedding Photography! A couple of weeks ago on another beautiful Autumn day, I meandered through the lovely Dorset countryside to the village of Buckhorn Western to meet up with the lovely Anne and the girls.

Onwards now to the village of Milborne Wick and its tiny church – so tiny that benches were set up outside for the 100 plus strong congregation, who were in no way going to be able to squeeze inside. A TV video link for all those outside to enjoy the ceremony…and thank goodness the sun is shining!

A wonderful ceremony and then Anne and Edward (now Mr & Mrs obviously) exited the beautiful little church to a swirl of confetti to board their wonderful vintage Sunbeam….not your standard wedding car hire…..away to cheers…well almost; the lovely old car needed a helping hand! With a few brave strong shoulders behind the carriage, Anne and Edward were finally off!

A little drive around the Dorset countryside for a few romantic images, and then back to Milborne Wick to the family home for the reception. A grand entrance to the lovely gardens, canapes and champagne, croquet or coconut shy or perhaps don a silly wig and have your photo taken through a strung frame. A lovely afternoon in the warm Autumnal sunshine and then to the fabulous Teepee Wedding Photography – decked out with all manner of wonderful vintage details for the wedding breakfast.

Speech time followed by cutting of the cake and then lighting of the bonfire…time to head to the dance floor and Anne and Edward lead us in the country dancing….

Fantastic! :-)
