2020 Weddings Update

So here we are in the middle of April 2020 and the whole world feels pretty mad right now. Here in the UK we are entering our fourth week of lockdown and nothing seems normal at all. Weddings of course (as have many other things) have had to take a back seat for now, well the actual having of one I mean of course! But, behind the scenes and in many homes across this wonderful land, the planning of one of the best days of your life continues, as of course it should. And it continues with as much gusto and passion as ever before in the hope that as soon as all this terrible turmoil ends (and it will end), a wedding can actually take place! And when the flood gates are finally opened, you are going to need all those fabulous suppliers that you rely on to help make your day the special time that you have been dreaming of and planning for, for so long. From venues to cake makers, from florists to make-up artist, photographers to entertainers and caterers, all are going to be in high demand and all will gladly step up to the plate and be there to help you celebrate your day.

So I wanted to let you know that I am still here, and totally ready to help you with any queries you may have.  I’m currently taking new wedding photography bookings from September onwards and fingers crossed we will be somewhere near to normal(ish) by then. Certainly bookings for next year, as it may be a bit of a bun fight to claim the best suppliers as Im guessing the calendar might get a bit squeezed. So get in touch, drop me an email, Whatsapp or old fashioned telephone call, I’m here ready and pleased to chat to you about your plans.

In the meantime, I thought I would share this very interesting and useful article for anyone looking for advice about planning and booking a wedding (or rearranging) during the Coronavirus outbreak. The article Coronavirus: Weddings in 2020 gives solid advice from Guides for Brides, and is definitely worth a read.
