Saturday, after one of the wettest days of the summer we have had, turned out to be a beautiful warm sunny day with a lovely light breeze a simply perfect day for a wedding down by the Dorset seaside. Kate and Andrew had their lovely ceremony at the beautiful white ribbon bedecked Kings Pavilion in Christchurch surrounded by family and friends. Then it was time to head off to the fabulous 1830’s Georgian Christchurch Harbour Hotel which sits right on the waters edge overlooking Mudeford Bay for the wedding reception.
A fabulously relaxed afternoon in the warm summer sunshine, wafted by a lovely sea breeze, champagne and great conversation flowed easily and the Jazz Quartet set the perfect background mood. Funny speeches and a few embarrassing moments for the groom with tales of his wonderous ‘spoon’ collection, don’t ask!
Then …
Downstairs to the Christchurch Harbour Hotel Spa to a fab dance floor that would make Michael Jackson eat his heart out, Kate and Andrew had their first dance. Up the beat and time for everyone to join in and trip the light fantstic …another great day.
