Dorset Wedding Photographers Bride Top Tips 2013 – Keeley & Ben

Welcome today to the last of our couples from last year who wanted to take part in our fab Bride Top Tips…Keeley and Ben. Keeley and Ben were amrried in June last year at the Dorset wedding venue that is Compton Acres a lovely Victorian pleasure garden in the middle of Poole. Keeley and Ben were also lucky to have a very lovely sunny day for their Dorset wedding.

Over to Keeley and Ben

Hi Courtenay,

Regarding the photos, there are so many we love so to narrow it down is very hard to do to be honest. You did an amazing job. If we had to choose something a little unique then we would go with this one ….

Looking back at the process, it was so enjoyable from start to finish and the planning definitely paid off especially as we only had 7 months to organise it due to my (Ben) return from Australia.
We would suggest to actually visit a few venues and don’t decide on the first one you see. Venues can get booked up very quickly so when you have decided, set the date. Believe it or not there are a lot finer details than you first imagine and if you want the day to run smoothly then it is best to plan everything thoroughly. Theme and style is important as it is a way in which you as a couple can express yourselves for the first time.

Leave plenty of time to save and add 15-20% for extras as your will be surprised how the little things add up and you want your you and your bride to have that perfect day right!

Just remember though that it doesn’t matter what other people think about your choices, the main thing is that you are both in agreement and happy.

Most importantly savour every moment of the day as it will go so quickly and try and hold your new wife’s hand as much of it as possible so you can share the time and memories together.

A cheeky recommendation from us regarding Cake and Hair

The cake was beautifully designed and created by Kelly Porter at the Cake Fairy Bakery and what a centre piece it was for our day. Just outstanding attention to detail and better than we could have imagined.

The bridal party hair was done by the very professional Keelys Cuts, whose advice and dedication really made my wife feel very special.

Kindest Regards,

Ben and Keely

Thank you Keeley and Ben…certainly some cheeky recommendations there…..we’ll turn a blind eye ;-)
